Forex คืออะไร?

Forex (Foreign Exchange) or FX is the world’s largest and most liquid foreign exchange market, where currencies are traded between banks, financial institutions, brokers and investors around the world. The Forex market is open 24 hours a day, every business day (Monday to Friday) because there are major financial centers at different times around the world, such as London, New York, Tokyo and Sydney.

การซื้อขายในตลาด Forex มักทำผ่านคู่สกุลเงิน เช่น EUR/USD, GBP/JPY, หรือ USD/JPY เป็นต้น
ซึ่งหมายถึงการซื้อขายระหว่างสกุลเงินสองสกุล โดยมีสกุลเงินแรกเป็นสกุลเงินหลัก (Base Currency) และสกุลเงินที่สองเป็นสกุลเงินอ้างอิง (Quote Currency)
